Would have to call that one a painful victory. They really took Daniel out of his game with those pesky little guards. Kevin wasn't able to get a sniff of open space. Sim, Chili and Renaldo sure held us together through the rough middle of the game. Baker was an effective move, it allowed Daniel his space on the wings, DK came thru in the clutch and we rode Daniel down the stretch. Boy that is gutting out a win if I have ever seen one, Coach Menz made effective adjustments throughout, never lost his cool even through some seriously bad calls. Go AGGS lets get back on track.
I'd like to see Ian Baker assert himself as a scorer against Bakersfield. If he can score 8 to 10 points without turning the ball over, the Aggies become very tough to beat.
Anan 10:51, very good point on Ian, he pulled up a couple times last night, although Seattle seemed to be pushing us out to the edges so this may have been necessary. I think Ian has a grit to him and is a solid contributor, I too can't wait to see him develop a little more scoring confidence as well. With KC, Ian and Travon maturing as a ball handler (the Curly Neal impersonation last night looks to have upset Coach Menz), our point spot may be in good condition for a while.
