This is more like it. I can deal with the polls picking RENO and the utags above us. Cant wait for this to start up. If Gillenwater is the real deal, and we get good point guard play, we'll be tough to beat.

This is why they play the games..

Friday is the start of the hoop season, which is what we all really want to get on to. Both mens and womens teams have a great chance to do well this year. It is now up to the fans to get out to BOTH teams games.

Nice to see both teams have someone on the all league teams.

Let's go Coach Menzies and Coach Spence. We're all pumped up!

Friday night at 7pm is the Crimson and White scrimmage for both the mens and womens teams.

I'm a huge supporter of our womens teams and I want everyone to get as excited for our womens team as they some times are for the guys. This is a good team with a proven coach. We all need to get involved with the girls this year.

If you are looking for a fun family time, bring your kids and friends out to the womens games.

To both teams; we are behind you and good luck.

Anon 7:24. Speak for yourself. I want it ALL. Football and basketball success. I'll be at the Pan Am Friday, and AMS Saturday. I'll be much more excited Saturday.

Yo! ... anon 8:31 (if that is your real name?) Maybe you preferred the Sun Belt Conf for football to being in the WAC, where you can see great teams come into AMS occasionally? There's only room in this state for one major college football program and everybody knows who that belongs to...and why. But when it comes to hoops it's a whole 'nother story so everybody might want to circle December 30. Read 'em and weep, Alford!

Mark down Dec. 19th too. I believe that is the Saturday our womens hoop teams hosts the low blows of UNM in the afternoon. Everyone needs to get to that game as well. Hoops is here Aggie fans. Get out and support both teams.

The question with the Lobos is, Will their 3-pt shooting be 2nd in the nation again (doubtful; hope not) and will Tony Danridge returning to the team after a year off due to the broken leg make their starting 5 dominant (doubtful; hope not). I have no info on the Lobo women except that people in ABQ kind of expect them to make it to the NCAAs every year now...
