Smith was the WAC freshman of the Year last year, shooting 58 percent which landed him in the top 12 nationally. He was the 50th highest scoring freshman with 11.5 ppg. That number could double this season after Paul George left for the NBA and Sylvester Seay leaving as a senior last year. I think Smith might be one of three WAC players with NBA potential at 6-10, 250 pounds.
