NMSU's schedule isn't out yet, but the University of New Mexico released its schedule. The Aggies play host to the Lobos on Dec. 4 and travel to The Pit on Dec. 11 for a 7 p.m. game

Any thoughts to BYU possibly rejoining the WAC? http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=5472642&ex_cid=2010_FRM_SC_Rndwn_4things
I talked to Coach Menzies earlier Wednesday and was told it was unlikely to make any additions at this point in the offseason for next year's team. I'll keep checking
My thoughts on BYU potentially joining the WAC is obviously the upgrade to the schedule for NMSU, which would then have UNM and UTEP twice, Arizona at home next year and who know, perhaps Texas Tech would end up on the schedule in the near future. Those are all solid regional opponents before the Aggies get to the WAC, some of them even at the Pan Am.
Believe what you want. I believe people thought Kofi Mensa was also supposed to suit up this year. Berry could very well be on his way to Las Cruces, but it doesn't mean he will be on the court this year, if ever. He hasn't qualified in two years. Would be a nice addition if he can come and sit for a year and hopefully join the team the following year, but that's all people should hope for.
Jason I read this article on Berry. http://www.zagsblog.com/2010/08/18/barry-to-new-mexico-state/ go to the horse and as him. I want to hear it from the horses mouth if he is or isn't.
Jason, any chance there will be any news regarding the WAC/MWC mess as it pertains to NMSU from you or Feinberg? Or are you in the dark like the rest of us?
I did a little more research for you on Remi Barry. He's listed as a student on the campus phone directory. What is Menzies plan???? I guess my previous article post is for real.
Lumpkins left because he was not given a chance to play. Instead of dealing with the run around that the coaches were giving him, he focused on getting his bachelor's degree and transferring to another school to play and pursue a master's degree.
Troy went on the trip. He didn't play because of an injury. Lumpkins left because he wasn't going to get any quality minutes with the team this year. He landed at Rutgers.
Anon, I wasn't doubting your info, I was just saying that just because they are on campus doesn't mean they will ever see the court. I hope he can get cleared and contribute in the future

What do you mean Groves? PTW says Berry is an Aggie. Why would MM say its unlikely to add someone?

So, will Drew Gordon be suiting up for the 12/11 game? When does unm's semester end?
My understanding is that Gordon won't be eligible until the end of December when the Lobos play Colorado in Vegas
