Tyrone Watson will be able to play in games again next week I found out. NMSU discovered that Watson only played in three city league games in August so the NCAA said he would be suspended for three games in a one-for-one situation, which means he will be able to play next Tuesday against UTEP.

Good news for the Aggies and Watson. This said, in the future Watson should be more careful in his basketball endeavors to avoid problems like this one.
Great. Can this guy defend and rebound?
It'd be nice if there was at least one player who did.
I second the motion: Can he play D or rebound?
Menzo reminds me a of a certain coach who believed he could win games without playing defense.
Yep, were talking about Hal Dumme.
Didn't we give him the boot after four years of futility?
NMSU has always been known for good BB teams.
Get it together Marvin Menzo, or your next!!
Amen Brudda! Defense and rebounding will win games..
I don't think Menzies is aware of the basketball tradition at NM State. He thinks this is like junior college, where as long as you reach .500, you keep your job. It's not likely we will ever make a post season NIT or NCAA under Menzies...he just doesn't get it.
Yeah, we had a couple tough seasons before Theus arrived, but those mediocre seasons are not the norm at NM State.
Anon 9:38 hit the nail on the head. I am quite certain now after two years of this that Menzies is not aware of where he is coaching. We are New Mexico State, Final Four 1969, Sweet Sixteen 1993, etc. etc.! He coaches us like we are a YMCA fun rec team. Buh bye Marvin!
