LMU

NMSU 30, LMU 15 10:52
The Aggies made their first 11 shots. Pretty impressive, considering they weren't all dunks, starting 4 of 4 from 3-point land

NMSU 50, LMU 26
Loyola's bad. They closed to within six, but the Aggies are on a 17-2 run.

NMSU 59, LMU 32 HALFTIME
Not many people to see this and now I understand why.
The Aggies are playing well though offensively. they are 57.1 percent from the field and have made 9-of-12 from 3-point land

NMSU 90, LMU 48 6:48
NMSU has hit 16 3s,, are shooting 53 percent from the floor etc. etc.

NMSU 104, LMU 62 FINAL

The Aggies dominated LMU thoroughly, but still...LMU is winless and doesn't have a real head coach right now. The UTEP game in Las Cruces is the only performance where the Aggies played to their full potential. I'm still not a believer in Menzies. Maybe the Lobo game this Tuesday will change my mind.

FUNDAMENTALS
The only players who didn't get to register an assist yesterday were Merker and Britt. The Aggies are keeping the ball moving around the perimeter better and it has to be a result of what's going on in the practice gym. I hope some seams open up tomorrow for backdoor cuts and more assits. Like Loyola Mrmnt, the Lobos overplay enough to allow the extra pass to beat 'em. Will it take 75 pts to beat UNM? Would be an entertaining game to watch if so.
