What no Aggies on the all defense team?!! We got hosed!

The last guy was Fred Peete...a Reggie recruit.
As long as Menzies is the coach. We will neve have another player on the All- D team!!

Sad but true.

It may be "terrible",but it looks pretty darn accurate to me.This year's NMSU Aggies has been all Troy with a supporting cast(most of the time) and little or no emphasis on defense. They'll last two games tops in the tournament.-Ag Alum

Gotta' earn your stripes. Been watching the Aggies all year long and don't see many players, outside of Gillenwater, who have done so.

If the players want to "represent," then, then win the regular season and conference tourney.

I second the Menzies comment. I was one of the few since Menzies was first hired that didn't think he could do it. He's not a DI coach..he needs to go back to doing what he does best, a recruiter. There is no shame in being a recruiter and Menzies is probably a good guy overall..he's just not a head coach.

If they lasted 2 games, they'd be playing (probably) USU for the conference title. I'd take that.

Yeah, Jb! That's right, tell 'em!

All Newcomer team is loaded with upper classmen. Good. I'd rather see NMSU stick with a coach that recruits students rather than ballers that got their credits built up while playing JuCo (no offense, McCarthy-ites).

Menzies earned that bonus he'll get for the academic progress. Can his team take the rematch with Reno on a neutral floor?

Nephawe ought to have his own WAC award: Took-A-Direct-Shoulder-from-Olek Czyz-And-Didn't-Budge-Award. Olek is lucky that the T was just for what Chile said and not for in-kind retaliation! Good luck vs Bulldogs Mr. WAC Newcomer of the Year (via Duke junior college). See you again Thursday .

Jefe and RT,

I guess we should be praising the job the La Tech coach did because HE managed to get one of his players on the all defensive team. Hmm, if only individual awards got La Tech to the conference tournament. Individual awards are meant to honor individuals, not what the team did that season. Well we can all still take solace in the fact that Idaho, Hawaii, and Fresno also failed to produce a player in the All Defensive team. Shall I ring up their coaches for you as well?
