The Miners are not that good. They played 3 teams that would be considered Division 1. They lost two of those games. Their RPI is over 110.

They can beat up on lower division schools all they want. When they have to play against the better teams in CUSA, they are going to have to fight for their wins.

And I guarantee the Aggies will make it an interesting game that goes down to the wire. Sheesh.

I realize JG likes Utep and has a serious man crush on Derrick Caracter but, c'mon!
This is an Aggie blog for Pistol Pete's sake!!!

NMSU should win by 30.
Then again, we barely beat Oklahoma Panhandle St. by 8!!

I don't mind at all about reading about the Miners if we got nothing going on with the Aggies. Pretty much, they are in the same boat as us regionally.

That kid Character is coming on. Good for them. We beat them once without two of our best players and they beat us once.

We've played tougher competition than the Miners have, and the record shows. Look for them to be in a dog fight at OU.

I put this story one here because the Aggies play Alcorn state on Tuesday. Just to clear up any confusion, I'm over my perceived affair with the Miners

Alcorn State turns the ball over a lot. If Menzies is smart. We press them like there is no tomorrow.

Jason: You better take that driver away from your girlfriend. After she reads your confession on this blog, LOOK OUT!

I dont think its a man crush on Derrick Caracter. Maybe JG just thinks like some of us that a former UL assistant coach should have had the upper hand in getting a former UL top recruit, instead of losing him to a rival with no ties to the program. After all he did fit into the type of player we love to bring in. The kind who can only play after the fall semester.
