Nothing yet

As of 5:20 p.m., there wasn't enough documentation to make a decision regarding Wendell and Troy. I'm not really surprised since things tend to move slowly here. What this does mean is that neither can play on Sunday, which also shouldn't come as a total shocker. I hope to talk with Coach Menzies this evening and will let you know if I'm able to get a story online before Saturday practice. In addition to B.J. West earlier this week, redshirt guard Jacoby Patton and center Abdoulaye N'Doye were cleared.

Thanks for the update. Good news on Abdoulaye N'Doye getting cleared. Let's hope now he can live up to all the hype about him that we've been listening to for the last 2 years.

As for Wendell and Troy, it's expected that they will miss Sunday's game. Their participation on Sunday depended not only on both of them getting their work done but also having all of their instructors post the grades early which is a lot to ask for considering there were still finals scheduled for today. I guess we still have to wait and see what the verdict on these two players is, and possible on some other players as well.

Isn't anybody else concerned with the 300K budget cut? If we want to keep the athletic programs out of bankruptcy, time to quit your whining and open your wallet. That is the only thing that seperates our team from those teams. We will never make up those deficits. Where are the boosters for this program? Time to step up and pony up!! I am a 1992 grad and have not been contacted in 10 years. Sad but truly the way it starts.

Chicken or the egg...

i can assure you that everytime the school calls for a donation i tell them the same thing. As soon as you put a winning program on the field or on the court (the only thing that will truly ad value to my business degree) it aint gonna happen...

N'doye is a project, who has herd of Jacoby Patton. This ship is sinking and somebody better stop the leaking now. Time to get a new captain.
