NMSU vs. Northern Colorado in BracketBuster

While it won't be televised, NMSU's BracketBuster game will be Feb. 19 at home against Northern Colorado of the Big Sky Conference.

According to RealTimeRPI.com, Northern Colorado has a RPI ranking of 138 and the Aggies are at 130.

Once again, the only WAC team with an official televised BracketBuster game will be Utah State.

Yeah, I think this match-up was picked before UNM's defeat of BYU lifted the Aggies RPI.

A nice home game. A chance to get out of conference. Just hope the Aggies win.

Sorry you won't be in town but maybe some students will post a realtime feed from the Pan Am video scoreboard for you. Close your eyes on KGRT's broadcast and you're almost there sometimes. Panamania is starting to go viral.

I think it was just before half time in the Boise St. game when Broncos were pressing hard that the Aggies finally got PO'd and started going hard to the glass with 'tude (like Wendell or Tyrone attitude almost). Now Menzies/Weir/Durham have created a monster. The big kid at center for Fresno State is a concern and of course the Hawaii/SJSU trip. But the home game for Bracketbuster will sport a big 6th Man crowd presence and tough Aggie rebounding for No. Colorado to deal with, suckahs! I'm out.

Time to renew a great rivalry from the 41-42 season. Hope it's not another seventy years before NMSU plays NoCol again. Hey it ain't SoCal but we already had a shot at those guys this year. This senior Beitzel might get his 19 but if they don't have the 9-man rotation the Aggies have I think we can run, 'em. From this weekend I saw that Troy (35 mins vs Vandals) and Ham are back in game shape and running the floor.

Actually Big Sky might be a good conference for the Aggies if the WAC ever lost it's automatic bid (which it's not). Weber State owns that bid most years but No.CO is right there...
